Poor kid. You're right that kids are resilient. I find it ironic that the same state that will take a child away from a parent who won't "affirm" their gender will return a child to an unfit parent. This is not how you act if you truly have kids' interests at heart.
The MAGA movement will have to grow beyond Trump to stand a chance, and there are signs it already is, so have hope there. And actually "getting Trump" is only icing on the cake. What they want are the headlines leading up to the election because most people don't think much beyond those.

I agree with you on conservatives being homeless at the moment. Republican to me means Mitch McConnell and his ilk, which is NOT conservative. How are he and Rand Paul representing the same state? It doesn't seem possible.
