I find it amazing how a millionaire is obscenely wealthy and needs to be taxed down to earth, but when you become a millionaire (I'm looking at you Mark Ruffalo and Bernie Sanders), suddenly it's billionaires that are "fat cats."

The strike by Hollywood is the best thing to happen to America since the election of Donald Trump. Those few people who still go to movies will soon drop the habit and by the end of 2024, people will either go back to reading books, engaging with Apple's Vision Pro, or robbery.

Agreed! Most will rediscover reading, or a hobby, time with family or friends, or writing a Substack!

Those who can't imagine life without Hollywood entertainment WILL be the ones who turn to crime and other destructive pursuits.

It’s a very difficult business. Well, I don’t like the politics of the members, it seems that artificial intelligence will destroy an already destroyed profession. The money that’s being made nowadays and entertainment is in the video game sector.

It certainly appears to be the case.

Eons ago, when I was learning to code in BASIC, the courses offered for programming for gaming would fill up with in minutes of being made available for registration. Especially animation.

Story of my life, though...either too early, or too late.

Yes, they are entitled. However, entitled people have no skills ultimately and won’t survive the cold of winter. It’s the old adage about fishing: give a man a fish…
