Thank you very much. Well done. Very wise and thoughtful. These people have no ears. Soul sickness is a real disease. A question. What does the historian of Presentism do? Doc.

Thank YOU, for reading!

If I understand correctly the question, my day job is consulting in the marketing technology field (which is quite vague), but I DO maintain my Salesforce certification, even though I've not used in >5 years.

Ashton Kutcher, boy heartthrob, is feeling the pinch of old age. He angled for success by courting Demi Moore and now, like an abandoned southern belle, Ashton demands publicity. I'm glad to see you included the word 'repentance' in your brilliant essay.

It is time for adults to behave like adults. Just because you foolishly said or did something ten years ago, it should not brand you for life.

I saw the article on Kutcher and Kunis. I thought it was ridiculous. We're allowed to support people we think are innocent. We're even allowed to support them when a court has ruled them guilty because as you say, in the end, you're getting the result of a game, not necessarily the truth.

The problem here is these do-gooders set up a precedent that puts blood in the water for the sharks. We have the problems with cancel culture we do because this crowd that would dub themselves at the forefront of modern enlightenment are nothing but a bunch of grade school kids who don't want to be kicked off the cool kids table in the lunch room, again as you suggest.

I also find it a bit hard to swallow that this group of people is so worried about the feelings and safety of women and will turn around and call a woman a bigot for not wanting a man as defined by anatomy in women's private spaces. It is incredibly hard to take them seriously.

Another nice piece!

Yes, the hypocrisy is mind-blowing, is it not?

I had seen the story but had no idea who he was. I finally asked my wife. I had never watched the show so still am not sure. His problems with the women is as old as time though.

Rolling Stone hasn’t been a music magazine for longer than MTV hasn’t been a viable music channel.

Proverbs is must reading. It’s always a constant reminder of truth.

Interesting read.

Thank you, sir!!

"His problems with the women is as old as time though."

Is that not the story/history of Hollywood?

"Rolling Stone hasn’t been a music magazine for longer than MTV hasn’t been a viable music channel."

I had been a subscriber though most of my high school years, but cancelled after its coverage of the Three Mile Island incident – even *I* could see that there was an agenda, even if I couldn't articulate it.

I enjoy old movies and read histories. I enjoy the Errol Flynn movies. He certainly had his issues with the ladies although I would guess some problems were self inflicted.

I can't think of a single instance where alcoholism was a help.

I actually enjoyed the fallout of the #MeToo "movement" not because it exposed Harvey Weinstein for the pig he is (but since when was that a secret?), but in its wake, all these "empowered" actresses like the insufferable Holly Hunter and all the rest on record as praising him for his support were suddenly silent. It's too bad none of the others pressed them to come clean.
